Jaipur Road Rage Case: Woman Apologizes After Damaging Man’s Motorcycle
A road rage incident in Jaipur’s Sodala area on 22 March has drawn attention after a woman damaged a man’s motorcycle following a minor collision near 22 Godam Puliya. The incident reportedly occurred when a sudden brake led to slight contact between vehicles, resulting in minor damage.
Despite the man, identified as Saurabh Sharma, apologizing at the scene, the woman reacted by breaking parts of the motorcycle, including the side mirror and indicator, while a traffic constable present did not intervene.
Later, the woman issued a written apology, stating that her reaction was influenced by panic after her first accident, during which she sustained a leg injury. Police accepted the apology, and no FIR was registered as no formal complaint was filed.
The incident has since sparked online discussions around police response, accountability in road rage situations, and differing public reactions.
